Just had a full custom stereo install (new head unit, amps, speakers, and sub) done at Lawson's Audio in Augusta and they knocked it out of the park. Friendly, knowledgeable team that actually listened to what I wanted and delivered perfect results. Installation was clean and precise, and the sound is amazing. They did it right the first time. Love that they've been a solid local business in the Augusta community for years. If you need car audio work, this is the spot. Highly recommend! I'll be back.

I brought my 2015 Toyota Tacoma in on Friday for a new radio and sound system, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The truck sounds incredible! Morgan and his team went above and beyond making sure I fully understood my options while keeping everything within my budget. The installation was clean and professional. I highly recommend this shop for anyone looking to upgrade their audio system!

On Friday I went in for a head unit repair and inspection. I was quoted $80 over the phone, but when I got there I was told $90. That was my first red flag, but I brushed it off thinking maybe it was just a miscommunication. I moved forward anyway. Instead of installing the amp and sub I already had, I purchased two 12” subs, an amp, and wiring kits from them because they said it would better suit my needs. I ended up spending over $1,000. By Sunday (when they’re closed Sundays and Mondays), my truck wouldn’t lock (power locks), and it acted like the battery was dead. I even had to manually release my key from the ignition. My battery is located in the middle floorboard, not under the hood (so not readily visible). I tried jumping it multiple times with different cables and vehicles, thinking there might be a drain or something preventing it from holding a charge. After all that, I had to miss work Monday because my battery was “dead.” When I finally got help to remove my (brand new) battery, I discovered the real issue: the negative terminal wasn’t properly connected. The ground wire was preventing it from seating correctly, so it kept coming loose. Because the battery is under a

Still the best in the game. Great prices, great service and most importantly great quality equipment. If you need anything entertainment done, go see Morgan and his staff over at Lawson’s. Thanks again

I wanted to have a radio, amplifier, and speakers installed on my golf cart before Halloween. I could’ve done it myself, but due to time constraints with work, I decided to take it to Lawson’s Audio. The staff were friendly, but it quickly became clear they didn’t have much experience working with golf carts. I was charged almost $2,000 for the job — which I was okay with given my time situation — but the results were disappointing. I noticed a $200 charge for wiring, yet there’s no constant power to the radio memory, and only two wires were actually run (power and ground from pre-installed connections). I later received a partial refund of $140 for the wiring, which I appreciated, but that didn’t fix the larger issues. To make matters worse, holes were drilled in the roof of the cart outside of the intended installation area, allowing rainwater to collect inside the console where the radio, amplifier, and speakers were mounted. Now, I have to seal it myself and hope none of the electronics were damaged. The system itself sounds terrible. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend taking your golf cart to Lawson’s Audio for installation work.
